Due to the handmade nature of the product, minor irregularities, traces of glaze, and other characteristics resulting from the firing process may be present. Please note that these are not defects.
As each piece is handcrafted, variations in size, height, shape, and color may occur even within the same product. Additionally, colors seen on screens may differ from the actual product due to monitor resolutions. Also, please be aware that small bubbles resulting from the glass-making process may be visible, which are not defects.
Because of the nature of handmade items, there might be differences in color and shape between what is seen on the screen and the ordered product. For a more accurate representation, we recommend visiting the Ilmu Craft Gallery in person.
Do not use in ovens or open flames.
Microwave use is not recommended.
Ceramics with gold, silver, platinum, etc. cannot be used in the microwave.
When using a dishwasher, take care to prevent the items from hitting each other.
Prolonged soaking may lead to breakage due to impact.
Be cautious about corner impacts.
Colors might bleed into the dish.
Gently clean with a soft sponge.
Natural occurrences like pinholes or cracks are not defects.
Colors of the ceramics might differ from the images when ordering.
Care Instructions
Before use, soak the dish in warm water until fully saturated (overnight if necessary), then remove excess moisture with a dry cloth before placing food on it.
Avoid placing strongly colored foods on the dish. Caution: Foods containing blueberries, grape skins, strawberries, or chili oil (stir-fries, stews, etc.).
If stained, frequent use might gradually remove stains, but repeated exposure to the same type of food might not be easily removed (including tea varieties like coffee).
If exposed to kimchi, curry, etc., leave them exposed to direct sunlight for several hours to several days (oxidation process).
These instructions are based on experiences with Buncheong ceramics and may vary depending on the specific piece.
